Pepper genetics and the development of the Okala Chile at OSU

OSU horticulturist Jim Motes will discuss fact and fiction of the pepper plant, a popular vegetable and spice, higher in vitamin C than the orange, and frequently pungent, often full of capsaicinoid compounds causing a burning sensation in humans. He will also talk abot the development of the Okala Chile at OSU.
