A City Manager's Swan Song

Stillwater City Manager Norman McNickle will retire after more than 46 years of service that began as an SPD officer. He worked his way through the ranks, from patrol officer, investigator, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, and was named chief of police in 1987. In 2015 he was appointed public safety directorand then interim city manager. He was named city manager in 2016. He is joining us, days before his retirment date, to share stories from nearly 5 decades of service to our community.
